Volodymyr Pryvizentsev is Managing Director of Geothermal Development Company Ltd. based in Georgia focusing on development of investment project for direct utilization of geothermal energy in Tbilisi.
In the last 15 years he has worked with the leading Icelandic consulting engineering company Verkis supporting business development in the region through searching for new contracts and running fully owned branch subsidiary in Georgia. The company provides design and consulting engineering services in the field of hydropower, geothermal energy and infrastructure as well as power plant operation, rehabilitation and maintenance services based on decades of Icelandic and international experience. Prior to his position in geothermal development company Volodymyr Pryvizentsev was involved as project manager in development of small hydropower and wind energy projects.
He received his MSc in International Business and Marketing from Reykjavik University, Iceland and BSc in Engineering from Donetsk National Technical University, Ukraine. Volodymyr Pryvizentsev is a member of Georgian Geothermal Association.
