
Suzana Carp is the Co-Founder of Cleantech for Central and Eastern Europe, an initiative launched in 2025 giving voice to the innovation ecosystem in the region. Additionally, Suzana is a Senior Policy Advisory to SuperGrid Europe and CurrENT, the association of innovative grid technologies.
Suzana is a well established EU climate and energy policy specialist, having previously supported Cleantech for Europe as its Deputy Executive Director for 3 years and having served as first executive director for Carbon-Free Europe (a transatlantic initiative) and Political Strategy Director for Bellona, a Norwegian NGO. Previously, Suzana worked in an advisory capacity for several international institutions. In the past, Suzana has served as a main author and appointed expert for a EU Green Diplomacy report for the European institutions.
Last but not least, Suzana has taught courses on EU Climate policy and the EU public agenda at Universities in France (Sciences Po Grenoble), has held talks at universities in the UK (University of Oxford), as well as has been regularly featuring as an expert speaker at universities in Belgium and Romania.
