Dr Sarah Robinson is a senior technical energy advisor at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. She currently works on providing technical research and evidence for policy makers across the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Her area of specialism is subsurface processes linking to the energy transition, such as geothermal energy. Sarah holds a PhD in subsurface geochemistry, a masters in Petroleum Geoscience and a bachelors degree in Geology. She currently lives in the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, located between Manchester and Leeds in the United Kingdom.
