Dávid Kapes was appointed as Head of Group E&P Low Carbon and New Energies at MOL Group in October 2023. The organization was created last year in order to drive the company’s sustainability-related challenges in Exploration and Production.
Mr Kapes leads Geothermal, CCUS, CRM (critical raw materials) and methane emission related projects among others, in order to comply with the decarbonization directives and further accelerate emission reduction within Exploration & Production. Before he joined MOL Group E&P in 2020, he held various managerial positions within MOL Group Finance since 2016. In 2020, he was appointed as Group E&P Business Support & CAPEX Management Vice President.
