Chair, Polish Geothermal Society

Chair of the Polish Geothermal Society, professor with the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland.

Member of a team which operated the 1st in Poland Experimental Geothermal Plant. Her field of expertise include geological aspects of geothermal systems, their uses and management, education and other topics. Academic lecturer, supervisor of several PhD theses.

Co-founder and chair of the Polish Geothermal Society. Board member of International Geothermal Association in past terms. Co-organised some editions of IGA Summer Schools on Direct Applications of Geothermal Energy. Member of Steering Committees of 2010, 2015 World Geothermal Congresses; Scientific Committees of European Geothermal Congresses; Member of Steering Committee, ETIP Geothermal.

Involved in initiatives aimed at wider geothermal district heating development in Poland. Participated in elaboration of Geothermal Road Map of Poland by 2040. Member of Earth Resources Management Council at the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
